Friday, October 6 7- 9 pm Culver Park - beach on Lake Maxinkuckee A free community wellness event Schedule 7:00 pm Launch and paddle one mile along the North Shore of Lake Maxinkuckee. 7:00pm - for those not paddling S'mores will be provided on the beach until 9 pm 7:30 pm- Arrive at East Shore destination for LEGENDARY LORE- told by Jeff Kenney, Town Historian under the moon with torches. 8:00 pm - Paddle back to the beach and join in for S'mores, hot chocolate and hot dogs. 9:00 pm: Bonfire concludes
Moonlight Paddle Reservations Those wishing to reserve a canoe for this year’s Culver Fall Fest Moonlight Paddle (the evening of Friday, Oct. 6) are encouraged to contact Dana Neer of Culver Academies to reserve one of the limited supply of free canoes, paddles and PFD's at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Participants are encouraged to bring a personal flotation device/life vest. - Those requesting a canoe must have some prior experience navigating a canoe. - Participants may also bring their own canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard to the Culver town beach for launch at 7 p.m.
- Part of Culver’s Native American history will be shared at the event. A bonfire with goodies follows the event, back at the beach.
